Citric Acid

Citric Acid brings to mind fruits.  NOT TRUE.  Commercial citric acid is a CORN or WHEAT product; when it suits them, maybe fruit product.  Found out today cruising the Internet looking for foods that are gluten, corn, soy, rice, sulfites free and came across an interesting side issue, why people who are allergic to corn may also react to citric acid.  Why, why, why.  AND everyone thinks I'm being ultra sensitive.  I don't think so.
